Sugar Skulls are a traditional folkart from Mexico used to celebrate Day of the Dead on Nov 1st and 2nd. They are decorated with colourful icing and pieces of foil and used to adorn homes during the most important holiday of the Mexican Calendar. These moulds can be made with chocolate, sugar paste, jelly or even plaster of paris.
This set has two sheets for the front and back of skull. Makes 2 full skulls. 9cm x 7cm. Instructions on the card. (In the UK royal icing sugar can be substituted for meringue powder)
